Do I need to be ready to stop?
You can reach out while you’re still unsure what you want to change. A consultation is a place to discuss what concerns you, what you’ve tried, and what support might look like.
Can I reach out about someone I love?
Yes. Parents, partners, and other family members can contact us to discuss their concerns and options for support. You don’t have to wait for your loved one to be ready before seeking guidance for yourself.
Where do sessions take place?
Wayfinder is based in Toronto and offers virtual therapy across Ontario. You’ll need a private space for your appointments. We’ll discuss whether virtual care is suitable for your situation.
What does therapy cost?
Standard individual appointments are $175 for 50 minutes; EMDR appointments are $220 for 50 minutes. Family therapy is $200 for 50 minutes. We provide receipts, and insurance reimbursement depends on your plan and the clinician’s designation. The initial 20-minute consultation is free.
What if I’ve tried therapy before?
Tell us what helped, what didn’t, and what you want to be different. Fit matters, and a consultation gives you room to ask about our approach before deciding whether to begin.
